Kimiye (pronounced Kimmy-eh, as a good Japanese Canadian name should be) was born and raised in a quiet suburb in western Canada.  Owing to a series of fortunate outcomes to misguided decisions, she has traveled extensively and lived in multiple countries as a well-respected teacher of English as a Foreign Language.  Through all her inadvertent life shifts, two things that she keeps close to her heart are her imagination and her obsession with finding the magic that exists in the world around us.

UnVeiled is her debut novel and the first of the Veilborn Series, giving us a taste of what-if that brings a touch of plausibility to the impossible.
